Parc du Château de Bonnefontaine

Description :

This romantic park was designed by the landscapers Edouard André and Denis Bühler. Large areas of groves, greenery, lakes and streams offset the towers of the château. The grounds were landscaped in the English style. The Renaissance château was built by a chamberlain of Anne, Duchess of Brittany, in the 15th century. It was extended in the 16th century and restored in the 19th century, and was placed under the protection of the archangel Saint Michael.
