TOURISM & HANDICAP IN ILLE-ET-VILAINE

Created in 2001, Tourisme et Handicap is developed in Ille-et-Vilaine through the action of the Tourist Offices, the destinations present in the department, the Ille-et-Vilaine Tourist Development Agency (ADT35) and the Brittany Tourist Office (OTB). Tourisme et Handicap is a national mark of quality reception.

It is the result of a partnership between the Ministry of Tourism, tourism professionals and associations representing people with disabilities.

In this respect, the Tourism and Disability Association (ATH) is responsible for the national coordination of the scheme.

WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Tourisme & Handicap identifies the accessibility of holiday, leisure or cultural facilities for people requiring adaptation for the main disabilities (motor, mental, hearing and visual).

The sites are assessed by a pair of representatives from the Tourism sector and the Disability sector. Specifically trained, they are responsible for assessing accessibility for the four main disabilities, according to national criteria.

In a few words, choose Tourisme & Handicap, for guaranteed accessible holidays!
